This post refers to the issue of being unable to view more than 20 live view panes on the IVS. Please find how to tackle this issue below.
Problem description
A customer has VCN3010 v100r002c50. They reported that whenever they are opening more than 20 live view panes (as per below snapshot), they are unable to view more than 20 live view panes on the IVS.
Solution
We advised the customer to change the bit rate, resolution, and frame rate in order to open more panes. In addition, we informed them to check the connectivity between the IVS and IPC, so as to make the BW sufficient and stable.
Log in to the IVS C/S client.
Choose Devices > Local Domain and double-click a camera. The Configuration window is displayed.
Choose Video Settings > Video Encoding Settings.
NOTE: You can choose to change the whole IPC's configuration by pressing Bulk configuration in the Video Settings tab.
After selecting the needed IPC from the left, then press Bulk configuration. We changed the below settings as per the below snapshot.
We asked the customer to change the resolution to be CIF (which is the lowest resolution); the frame rate will be 30 and the bit rate will be 512kbps.
After that, restart the IVS client, then open the live view tab and try to open the IPC's from the left by double-clicking on them.
The customer was able to open 45 panes as per the below snapshot.
