Same problem with TS, my HG8245H5 from my ISP can DETECT my printer (HP 1515), but no matter what I try to install and connect to 192.168.100.1 to access printer is not successfull.

Please Huawei Expert please help us ..

Huawei,please confirm whether this type of product can be as printer server or not. as simple as that,thank you.

Had a similar problem but I got it working and figured I'd share what I did for anyone having similar problems.

1. In the home sharing window make sure that "Enable printer and storage sharing" is checked and below it take note of the name that it gives you in the "Home printer information" (Obviously have the printer USB cable connected to the router already) since we'll be needing it. (I don't have the sharing authentication option enabled.
   
   That's all you'll be needing from the router.

2. So we move on to the computer to add the printer.
   Menu > Printers > Add Printer and while it's searching click on the small letters at the bottom that say "The printer that I want isn't listed"

3.  So you'll have the new window to find printer by other options. Now this is where everything goes wrong for all of us including the OP since we all chose the wrong option and could never get a test pring page out of it.

4. Turns out that this is what we're supposed to do:
   
   You'll want to select the 2nd option that says "Select a shared printer by name" which was a text box that has to be filled out with the default gateway: http://192.168.100.1:631/printers/<name of the printer from router> and hit next
   

   * In my case with an EPSON L220 it was http://192.168.100.1:631/printers/L220_Series

5. Select the drivers for your printer and press next
   

6. You'll get a confirmation page where you can set the printer as default and do a print test page.

7. Finish and congratulations it should be working now.
