Unable to see clearly people's faces or plates when the light is directed to the camera

Could anyone please kindly help with this issue?


Now we are using the IPC 6625 Z30 (dome camera) and IPC 6225 (bullet camera) together with VCN 3010.


The main issue that I faced is that when the light from the car or motorcycle is directed to the camera, we cannot see the car plate, nor the cyclist's face. Please kinldy see the following picture.


Although I changed from backlist to WDR, I didn't see that much of a difference.

When I changed the camera setting from backlight compensation to light suppression, although the light density from the car is reduced, the image is not too much clear compare with backlight compensation ( do we need to do other settings after changing this to get the clear image like backlight compensation)

Yes, I found this interface.

When I open the down arrow, I see

WDR
Light suppression
Backlight compensation
Disable


I didn't see the Highlight compensation. I found only backlight compensation. These two are same or different?
