Today, I’d like to share a case.
Problem Description
Customer reported the issue that he was unable to delete service port via TL1 command due to error “Service Port does not exist.” Although the service port existed and customer was mentioning correct Service Port ID in DEL-SERVICEPORT command.

Problem Analysis
1. Verify on U2000 if the target service port actually exists or not.
2. Verify if the customer is mentioning correct service port ID in the DEL-SERVICEPORT command, also the DEV IP.
3. Verify other parameters of DEL-SERVICEPORT command like F/S/P, ONT ID, Service VLAN, Gemport, User VLAN, etc.
Root Cause
It was observed the customer was mentioning all the parameters in DEL-SERVICEPORT command correctly except the service VLAN. The service VLAN in DEL-SERVICEPORT command was incorrect.
Solution Description
Mentioning the correct Service VLAN in the DEL-SERVICEPORT command resolved the issue.
