This topic uses the PE-5126 network keyboard as an example to describe how to connect to a PEARMAIN network keyboard.
Background
To obtain the usage instructions of PEARMAIN network keyboards, log in to http://www.pearmain-cctv.net/index.php?s=/en/service/download/cid/152.
Prerequisites
You have connected the network interface of the network keyboard to the network where the C/S client is located, and the C/S client has started.
Configuring the Network Keyboard
Power on the network keyboard. The login page is displayed, as shown in Figure1.

Enter the user ID and password.
NOTE:
The user ID ranges from 0 to 255. If a user ID ranging from 0 to 255 is used, the user password must be authenticated through matrix during login. If a user ID ranging from 1000 to 1255 is used, the user password must be locally authenticates through the network keyboard. If the user password is authenticates, the operation page is displayed. User ID 1000 indicates user ID 0 pluses 1000. This is used to differentiate two login modes.
The password contains a maximum of eight digits. The default password is 123456. The RedApple keyboard is a non-Huawei product. To ensure user account security, it is recommended that the login password be changed periodically to a password with a high complexity.
Move the cursor to and press Enter or the button on the top of the joystick to enter the operation page.
Set the IP address of the network keyboard.
Press MENU to enter the page for setting the keyboard.
Move the joystick rightward, choose System, and press Enter to enter the system configuration page.
Choose Port set and press Enter to enter the port configuration page.
Move the joystick rightward, choose Network, and press Enter to enter the network configuration page. Figure2 shows the network configuration page.

Set the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway IP address of the network keyboard.
Move the joystick downward, move the cursor to , press Enter, choose Confirm, and press Enter to save configurations.
Set the client IP address. Move the joystick rightward to enter the page for setting the matrix IP address, as shown in Figure 3.

Set Port to 18805.
Set Matrix IP to the IP address of the PC where the client is installed.
Move the joystick downward, move the cursor to , press Enter, choose Confirm, and press Enter to save configurations.
Setting the Network Keyboard on the C/S client
Log in to the C/S client as the Admin user and access the Para. Setting tab page.
Select a vendor, set the matrix network port number, and enable the network keyboard, as shown in Figure4

Setting the Network Keyboard on the C/S client
Log in to the C/S client as the Admin user and access the Para. Setting tab page.
Select a vendor, set the matrix network port number, and enable the network keyboard, as shown in Figure4
This topic describes how to use RedApple network keyboards to enable and disable the video wall function and control the PTZ.
Procedure
Set a keyboard shortcut value for each camera.
Log in to the IVS client as the Admin user and access the Live Feed tab page.
In the Cameras panel, right-click a camera and choose Set Key Value to set or change the keyboard shortcut value, as shown in Figure 1.

NOTE:
You can right-click a camera group and choose Display > Key value from the shortcut menu. Keyboard shortcut values are automatically generated for the cameras in the camera group.
Log in to the network keyboard.
Power on the network keyboard. The login page is displayed.
Enter the user ID and password. The operation page is displayed, as shown in Figure 2.

Press Monitor ID > MON > Enter > network keyboard value > CAM > Enter in sequence. Live video feeds from the camera are played on the video wall.
NOTE:
The keyboard shortcut value for the camera is the value configured in 1.
Pane IDs start from 1 and increases by 1 from left to right and from up to down.
On the network keyboard, press Monitor ID > MON > network keyboard value > CAM in sequence. The live video feeds stop playing on the selected video pane.
Use the network keyboard to control the PTZ camera whose live video feeds are being played on the video wall. On the network keyboard, press Monitor ID > MON in sequence. Move the cursor to the specified pane and use the jotstick and network keyboard to control the PTZ camera.
