This post describes the issue of being unable to add U1960 to eSight. Please see the solution below.
Problem description
A customer reported that when adding U1960 to eSight, they got the error message below ('License not enough'):
Handling process
1. Confirmed the eSight version. Customer said it was V300R003 C20.
2. Asked the customer to send us a snapshot from License resources from the eSight web page. They sent us the below snapshot:
3. Checked the license on our ESDP and found that it was the same as the one on eSight, as per the below snapshot:
Solution description
1. Checked the guide and found that the UC devices should be added as per the below image:
2. The customer has to apply for another license with the feature like this:
eSight UC Device Manager Devices (with the quality the customer needs; for example, if they need one U1960, they need to purchase and add the license with this feature and quantity 1).
