Unable Log in to My Router HG630 Because of an Username & Password Problem

Hello, everyone!


This post addresses the issue of being unable log in to my router HG630 because of a username & password problem. Please see more details below.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

I have a problem with a Huawei HG630 router.


I've upgraded the firmware HG630 V2-12 V100R001C105B020_Board Software_Egypt_Tedata_05022ATV.zip from this site:

https://easy-firmware.com/index.php?a=downloads&b=file&id=119050.


Everything has changed, including the username & password. Now I can not log in to the router with my previous username & password.


Error message:

Incorrect user name or password. Remaining attempts: 2.


I have contacted easy-firmware, but they do not know anything about the username & password!!


The router has been reset several times, but the previous username & password are still not working.


*Can I know the login data from firmware files?


*Can I reset my password via Telnet?


How is that, because I don't know anything?


Please help me, I cannot buy a new router at this time. I apologize for disturbing you.

Hi!

Have you tried using the hard reset? It will restore the factory default settings.

To perform a factory reset, please follow the below steps.

1. Power on the Huawei router, place a paper clip or pin into the hole on the back of the router labeled Reset.


2. Hold the paper clip or pin down for 10 to 15 seconds and release.

3. The Router will reboot on its own. Once the WLAN light stops blinking, the router is reset.

Please note:

Resetting the Huawei router does not reset the firmware to an earlier version. It will only change all settings back to factory defaults.

Once your Huawei router has been reset, it goes back to its factory default dettings.

IP address: 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

Username: admin

Password: admin or password

Alternatively, see back side of your device.

Do you have backup for this router firmware or do you have any service contract with Huawei for the router?

Hello, from the firmware name you upgraded, it belongs to the firmware of the operating agreed version. I do not know whether your device is customized. If you want to find the password, contact the operator in Egypt.

 

In addition, the firmware version of the ONT must match the firmware version of the peer OLT. Otherwise, the ONT may work abnormally. You are advised not to upgrade the firmware at will, risky operations must be performed under the guidance of professional technical engineers.
