UMPT RAN16 / GTMU RAN13 conflict

Dear Colleagues,

I've encountered an issue while swapping BBU3900 with BBU3910:

  • GTMU doesn't allow any BTSM version to log on, neither on BBU3900 or BBU3910 (GTMU runs on RAN13).

  • I've tried many username/passwords & it didn't work.

  • when installed another New GTMU it logged on normally, but we had to upgrade it to RAN15 because some cells weren't functioning properly (MUX) & it affected service.

  • I suspect there's a conflict between RAN13 SW @GTMU & RAN16 @UMPT.


If anyone encountered this issue & resolved it thanks to support.

We recommend not changing equipment models without special needs. This is because it may lead to incompatible software or configuration.                      It is recommended when u make any upgrade action to check HW compatibility and SW compatibility.
