Today I would like to share with you when hang UA5000 under HONET FA16, connect UA5000 as RSP frame to FA16 through E1, open Z interface to extend, UA5000 end phone ringing, no call, no dial tone when pick up.
Problem Description
As shown in the networking diagram, the central control of the power plant is FA16 equipment, equipped with PV8 board and CDI board, the power plant is UA5000, the frame is H60Z1HABC, the main control board is PVMD, the RSP software is loaded, and the user board is A32. The network management is HV20A005-C005-20010319, P40 patch. Same batch of goods

The power plant UA5000 is virtualized into an RSP-19 frame and hung under the FA16. The three power plants are connected to the central control of the power plant through an E1, and the central control is extended with the Z interface of each power plant. Power plant 2 telephone is normal. Dialing the phone of Power Plant 1, it can ring, and there is no sound when the phone is lifted, and it will be automatically interrupted after 1S. When Power Plant 1 is calling, there is no dial tone when the phone is lifted.
Process
1. Test the phone from the program-controlled exchange, and it is normal; the phone is normal
2. Replace the A32 board of power plant 1, and the fault remains
3. Replace the centralized control CDI, the fault remains
4. Centralized control exchanges E1 of power plant 2 with E1 of power plant 1. Power plant 2 is normal, and power plant 1 has the same failure phenomenon
5. Consider whether power plant 1 is connected to E1 of slot 5, and notify the site to change to another pair of E1 lines marked 1 and 2. The phone is normal after replacement
Root cause
The data configuration is FA16 to the 4-slot E1, but actually due to the wrong connection of the 4-slot and 5-slot E1 lines, the signaling goes through the 4-slot E1 when picking up the phone, and the 4-slot E1 is not connected, so there will be no dialing sound. When power plant 1 is called, FA16 can send the signaling down and ring, but when the call connection needs to be established, the equipment of power plant 1 also establishes the link through the 4-slot E1, and the 4-slot E1 is not connected, and the connection cannot be established. The chain will be automatically broken afterwards
Suggestions
1. When the UA5000 uses the HWCB rear maintenance board, the 4 and 5 slots of E1 are on a 24-pin header, and the wires are outlet through 2 8-core wires. The previous 8-core wire is the 5-slot E1 wire, and the next 8-core wire is Outgoing line of 4-slot E1. It needs to be clearly distinguished at the scene and cannot be reversed
2. The actual data on the network management should match the actual E1 connection
