Today, I’d like to share a case.
Problem Description
U2000 servers was down and switch from primary server to secondary server.
Problem Analysis
U2000 server was down and switch to secondary server that mean floating ip are working normally. We still can access to primary server from secondary server and get log for investigate.
That mean U2000 primary server still active but may have something abnormal and effect to server.
Root Cause
After investigate U2000 log. The U2000 is fail to connect socket. after that we found error in solaris of primary.
log show that someone use same address of U2000 server. then cause interface of U2000 server was disabled by solaris. So U2000 is timeout to query process and HA switchover.
Solution Description
Modify the IP and then the question resolved.
