Functions of the U2000 NE Software Management May Involve Personal Data:
· Manual backup: Manually backing up NE database and configuration files to the U2000 server, U2000 clients, or a third-party FTP or SFTP server.
· Policy-based backup: Automatically backing up NE database and configuration files to the U2000 server or a third-party FTP or SFTP server.
· Redundancy backup: Automatically backing up NE database and configuration files to a third-party FTP or SFTP server
· Saving the backups of NE database and configuration files to the U2000 clients
· Viewing and comparing the backups of NE configuration files
· Converting backups of NE configuration files for NE upgrades and saving the resulting configuration files on the U2000 server
U2000 NE Software Management Use Personal Data For:
· In case that NE data is damaged or lost due to upgrades, downgrades, or other factors, the U2000 NE Software Management supports manual backup, policy-based backup, and redundancy backup, and saves the backups to the U2000 clients. The backups can be used to restore NE data.
· To learn the NE information after the configuration data on NEs is changed or the NEs are upgraded, users need to view or compare the backups of the same NE or different NEs on the server.
· Some access NEs are upgraded by converting NE configuration files based on certain rules and sending the resulting configuration files to NEs. These resulting configuration files need to be saved on the U2000 server.
U2000 NE Software Management Process Personal Data:
· NE Software Management implements permission management for backups on the U2000 server.
· NE Software Management allows users to set the maximum number of backups that can be saved on the U2000 server. If the maximum limit is exceeded, the earliest backups will be deleted.
· The configuration files that are generated for NE upgrades will be automatically deleted when the NE upgrade tasks are deleted.
· NE Software Management cannot automatically delete the files that are transferred to U2000 clients or a third-party FTP or SFTP server. Users need to handle the files appropriately.
