Downloading data is to send the data from U2000 to the NE side, mainly configuration data. For upload data, as mentioned above, it is to replace the original data on U2000 with the configuration data from the NE side

As UNICEF said, if the result shows the configuration data is inconsistent, you need to upload the configuration data from the NE to the U2000

However, it is very rare to download the data of U2000 to the NE side, unless you find that the data on the NE side is wrong or missing. |

The configuration depends on the actual situation. Generally, when you configure services or set basic parameters, the U2000 applies the data to the NE as long as you click Enable, Apply, or Activate.

"If the result shows the configuration data is inconsistent, you need to upload the configuration data from the NE to the U2000 or download the data from the U2000 to the NE for data synchronization." - ok, thats clear, i need to upload or download. "Data synchronization operations include uploading, synchronizing, and downloading NE data." - synchronization itself includes synchronization.

"Therefore, when uploading NE data, you can use the NE data to overwrite all the data on the U2000. Synchronizing NE data is to change inconsistent data into consistent data" - so what is changing? just adding without deleting on U2000?

I found Synchronization modes: Manual synchronization: Synchronizes NE data manually. Scheduled synchronization: Synchronizes NE data periodically and automatically. Upload: Uploads inconsistent NE data to the U2000. Download: Downloads NE data from the U2000 for new deployment or when the NE data is lost. But what itself synchronization does? Still not clear after all this time :) |
