Today, I'd like to share a case.
Problem Description
【Problem Summary】U2000 cannot connect to some of the GNEs
【Problem Details】U2000 report GNE_CONNECT_FAIL on BWS1600A.
Problem Analysis
1. U2000 also manage many other BWS1600A GNE, and these two 1600A can be manage through second GNE, so the U2000 process shall be OK.
2. Both Ping from U2000 sever to GNE and Ping From GNE to U2000 server are OK, so there TCP/IP protocol works fine
3. Use Navigator in U2000 server to login to these two NEs, both working fine.
4. As U2000 manage BWS 1600A by port 3081, so we suspect some router or firewall between U2000 and GNE block 3081 port
5. Check all the router / firewall between U2000 & GNE, find out one firewall block the 3081 port which cause this problem. Enable 3081 in firewall, U2000 can connect to these two GNE properly.
