U1960 fail to receive fax from PSTN E1 connection. How can we solve this issue ?

Problem Description :

U1960 fail to decode the FAX message and cause the Fax Data fail to send to the FAX server.

Network Topo

PSTN--------->U1960--------->USM------->Fax Server

Problem Analysis :

1.)The Fax Server is only Compatible with G.711U without T.38 or T.30

2.) Capture the Log from LMT tools.

The Log file show U1960 fail decode the Fax Message.

Solution Description :

SSH/Telnet into U1960 in config mode.

Type the Command :

Above command is to configure U1960 as Transperancy and do not handle the Fax Message.

Root Cause : U1960 fail to decode the fax message from 3th party end point. Configure the U1960 as Transperancy as fax bypass mode
