【Issue description】
Networking information: eSpace 7810 (IP phone) ---Information about the SBC----U1930----PSTN version: eSpace U1930 V100R001C01SPC600 fault symptom: When a customer uses an IP phone to make an intra-office call, the call fails randomly. After a third-party call is connected to a three-party conference call, the session is automatically interrupted for about 10 minutes.
【Possible Cause】
The default re-registration time of the eSpace 7800 series IP phones is 3600s. In the early version of the SBC, the session survival time is 600 seconds. When this time difference occurs, the proxy session on the SBC becomes invalid. As a result, the call cannot be connected or disconnected during the call.
【Handling Procedure】
1、 Change the re-registration time on the IP phone to be the same as that on the SBC.
If the number of IP phones is small, you are advised to change the registration timeout duration of each IP phone to 600s.
If there are a large number of IP phones, run the config modify sip parameter maxregexpires 10 command in the U1930 configuration mode to change the registration timeout duration to 10 minutes so that the IP phones that fail to register can obtain more registration opportunities.
Note: If the parameters on the U1930 are modified on site, the parameter can be delivered to the IP phone only when the IP phone sends a re-registration request to the U1930.
2、 If the fault persists, contact your service provider for technical support.
