Symptom
Artifacts or frame freezing occurs during live video viewing on the IVS client.
Possible Cause
Possible causes of artifacts:
Network packet loss occurs.
The client cannot decode special streams.
Too many services are enabled on the PC where the client is installed and occupy a large amount of memory, so the memory cannot meet decoding requirements.
Crossed media streams exist.
Possible causes of frame freezing:
The speed for sending media streams is unstable.
The incremental data of the timestamp is uneven or does not match the frame rate, which affects decoding.
I-frames are greater than other types of frames (commonly 4:3). A greater I-frame indicates a longer time for decoding the rendered I-frame.
Network jitter affects media stream stability.
solution
Check the network. Specifically speaking, check whether the device can be pinged on the server where the DCG module locates (ping command: ping 10.10.10.10). If the device cannot be pinged, check whether a router is added, the network cable is damaged, the network cable is properly connected, and the switch is running properly.
Check the device. Specifically speaking, check whether artifacts or frame freezing occurs during live video viewing on Web pages. If yes, locate the network fault or contact the device vendor to locate the device fault
