Hi,
Huawei OLTs support protection in downstream and upstream network.

Downstream network - there are 4 types protestion - A, B, C and D.
Huawei OLT use type B (type B single-homing protection and type B dual-homing protection) and C protection (type C single-homing protection and type C dual-homing protection).
You can use these protection on MA56xx, in command line You must use appropriate commands.

Upstream network - You can use LAG (Link Aggregation Group for 2 or more phisical links) with LACP protocol and ethernet protection group - timedaley, port state and smart link protection group.
