Hello everyone, today I will share with you the case about UPS5000 power failure handling methods. Hope it is helpful to you.

 Issue Description

The UPS has no output or output shutdown alarm, and the load has no power.

UPS5000

Handling Process

As the 'No power supplied and Output disabled' alarm generates, and there are no other abnormal alerts on the UPS.

So query the historical alarms, and we find the UPS drained and reached EODpoint.

UPS5000

When UPS discharges to EOD point, it needs to clean the 'No power supplied and output disabled' alarm, then startup UPS to normal mode.

Root Cause

Mains power supply outage makes UPS discharge to EOD.

Solution

It needs to startup UPS manually as the settings were not correctly set and EOD was disabled.

UPS5000

Startup UPS to normal mode.

UPS5000

Enable EOD restart function. When UPS discharges to the next non-loads, UPS will startup automatically after mains recover.

UPS5000

Suggestions

EOD settings should be set to enabled.

Thanks!

Well explained.
