Error: “The quantity defined in the license is smaller than the consumption of the systrem. Please select an appropriate license for update.”

Problem Analysis
1) License file is wrong. The quantity defined in the license is smaller than the consumption of the system.
2) License updating (expansion) failed is current U2000 version’s bug.
Root Cause
U2000 version defect
Solution Description
Check the newly obtained license file. Quantity defined in the license should be the same or larger than the consumption of the system.
To compare the old and the new licenses open Help > License Management > License Information and click Update License…
See attachments ("license information" and "license new value"). If the new license file is normal and satisfy the requirements,
expand the license manually.
For manual license expansion do follow:
1. Create “backup” folder in the default directory
For Windows Server: D:\U2000\server\etc\conf\license
For Solaris Server: /opt/U2000/server/etc/conf/license
2. Move old license file from “license” folder to “backup” folder.
3. Input new license file in directory “license”.
4. Log in System Monitor Client and restart processes of “License Process” and “Security Process”.
5. If U2000 Client is working, message about license changes, click “Yes” to confirm updating.
The final solution is to upgrade U2000 to U2000V100R003SPC105 or install patch CP1052.
