Today, I’d like to share a case.
Problem Description
In Site A and Site B ,
1.We delete the Logical Fibers (FIU to ST2 both sites, Site A_ FIU to Site B_ FIU) from U2000 NMS.
2.In site A and site B , we replace TN14FIU01 with TN16FIU01 board .
3.We replaceTN11ST2 board with TN12ST2 in both site for the OTDR Function.
4.We create the Logical Fibers from U2000 NMS again. At that time cannot create the logical fiber.
Problem Analysis
1. We check the logical fiber in U2000 and synchronize with NE.
2. After synchronize, we check the logical fiber again in U2000.
Root Cause
U2000 NMS cannot update the NE logical Fiber information.
Solution Description
1. We login with Navigator Software On Site and check the logical fiber in NE ( site A and B ) .
2. We found the logical fiber with Navigator in NE but can't see in U2000 .
3. After we found logical fiber with Navigator , we try to delete the logical fiber in NE .( site A and B )
4. We can delete successfully the logical fiber with Navigator in NE . ( site A and B )
5. After that , we can create logical fiber successfully from U2000 NMS .
