Today, I'd like to share a case with you.
Problem Description
Current version of U2000 is V200R015C60, while integration of some NEs, found that ST2 board disappeared from NMS and shows gray color, although its already plugged and internal fiber is created.
Problem Analysis
1. Onsite support and plug out the board and plug in again, same issue still gray color on NMS.
2. Repeat this step on other site reporting same issue, and the problem still exist. This means it may be not OSN 8800 issue and may be issue related to U2000
3. Check the ST2 board version (TN12ST2) and check for the current issues of U2000. The R&D engineers confirm that this problem is a software defect.

Software defect.
Solution Description
1. Install patch or upgrade to the next version to completely solve the issue.
2. There is other temporary solution as below:
Restart the eml_pubsvr and eml_datachace process.
