Today, I'd like to share a case with you.
Problem Description
During U2000 manual migration to NCE, when Script importing started some GNEs DCN started to flap.
Problem Analysis
1. We checked whether there is NE user account duplication between U2000 & NCE. there was no duplication.
2. We checked all IPS related to NCE server, we found that the NCE IP was the same as the IP of one Gateway in the network.
Root Cause
IP conflict, as we found that the NCE IP was the same as the IP of one Gateway in the network.
Solution Description
The Gateway IP was changed to clear the IP conflict. Before migration to NCE make sure that the IPs used for NCE does not conflict any IP in the network.
