Hello, everyone!
Today I'd like to share a case with you!
Problem Description
NE 6-2 is unreachable when there are not any fiber cut occur. The GNE is 6-7.

Problem Analysis
1. Check alarms and line optical power of all NEs, no exception is found.
2. According to the topology, two OSN 580 devices are connected through client ports. Checked the configurations of NE 6-1, it was found that the port was not configured with extended ECC.
3. So we can know that the DCC channel between NE 6-2 and the GNE should be as follows:

4. Check the DCC channel from GNE(6-7) to NE(6-8) through Navigator.

It was found that NE (6-8) have received the DCC signal of NE (6-2) . But there are lot of lct login logs of NE (6-7) on NE(6-8).

5. It was suspected that there are a lot of lct login events blocked the DCC channel from NE (6-8) to NE (6-2). After warm reset the SCC board of NE (6-7), the lct login events on NE (6-8) disappeared and NE (6-2) went online again.
Root Cause
A large number of login events block the downstream DCC channel.
Solution Description
Check the terminal on which the LCT user logs in to the NE and disconnect the terminal.
