Hello everyone, today I will share a case with you -9 load shedding in HUPS-240VEBM, but there is no battery alarm on UPS2000.
【Problem
Description】
A customer feeds back that his UPS has no battery alarm.
【Problem Analysis】
1. UPS
•Measure the terminal of UPS to check whether the voltage is normal
If it is 0v, please check the battery pack and battery breaker.
•Start the UPS by the battery
If we can start UPS, the battery pack is good. Then close the AC input breaker. The alarm will disappear.
If you can’t start UPS, there are some problems with the battery, please check the battery pack.
•When UPS is working in normal mode, check whether the voltage of the battery is normal on the LCD
2. Battery pack
•Measure the terminal of the battery pack to see whether the voltage is normal
If it is 0V, it means that the loop is a break.
•Open the battery pack. Please measure the fuse to see whether it is good or not
•Open the battery pack. Please measure the battery one by one, check whether each battery’s voltage is normal (around 12V)?
•Open the battery pack. Check the connection cable of the battery, whether it is loose or not? Find the position in which the cable is a break between batteries.
3. Battery breaker
•If there is a breaker between UPS and battery pack
•Check whether the breaker of battery is turned on
•When the breaker is turned on, measure the resistance of each line if the value is not0 Ω, the breaker is faulty, please replace it
【Root Cause】
The customer did feedback on the result of checking the battery packs after a long time. And we can't export the logs from UPS either.
【Solution Description】
1. Check the total voltage of the battery.
2. Check the voltage of each battery, cable connection, and fuse board.
