Dear All! In traffic policing using two token buckets and two rate, when the CIR is set to 1 Mbit/s and the PIR is set to 2 Mbit/s, what is the maximum transmission rate for the traffic in green?

Hi,
Before we give the answer, it's necessary that we explain which part of the traffic is marked in green, yellow, and red in two rates and two buckets.
The traffic that doesn't run out of the tokens in bucket C will be marked green, if the traffic rate exceeds the buckets in token C but not run out of the tokens in bucket P, they will be marked in yellow. Else, the traffic will be marked in red.
In other words, we have the formula below:
CBS > packets >>> green
CBS < packets < PBS >>> yellow
PBS < packets >>> red
When the CIR is 1Mbps and PIR is 2Mbps, the maximum rate of traffic in green is 1Mbps.
What should be pointed out is the maximum instantaneous rate could reach PIR, which is 2Mbps.
