Traffic mirroring

As shown in the figure, switch: s5720-36c-ei, firewall: usg6305e

The firewall port has been switched to a layer 2 port. After the policy is configured, normal traffic can pass through the firewall, but the mirrored traffic cannot pass through the firewall. After consulting Huawei firewall after-sales service, a solution is given to use the three-layer remote mirroring method to pass through the firewall, but the S fixed switch not support three-layer mirroring. Is there any way to allow mirrored traffic to pass through the firewall?

Hi Qazik,

You can try to configure the interface pair.

Interface pair, that is, one inbound interface and one outbound interface. After two interfaces of the same type form an interface pair, traffic from one interface is always forwarded through the other interface without querying the routing table or MAC address table. If the inbound and outbound interfaces are configured on the same interface, the device processes the packets that enter the interface and then forwards the packets out of the interface.
