1.1 Preparation
1.1.1 Connect PC and SMU
The cable is the normal network cable

1.1.2 Setting IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Gateway
The default IP address of SMU02B is 192.168.0.10. The default URL which can be used to access SMU02B is https://192.168.0.10/login.asp. You can set the IP address, subnet mask and gateway for SMU02B based on customer requirement if needed.
Set the IP address, sub-net mask, and gateway of the SMU on the LCD screen base on the IP address allocated by customers. The LCD default password is 000001.

Set the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway of your computer, it should be in the same subnet of SMU02B, but with different IP address.
1.1.3 Setting LAN
The following operations for cancel the use of proxy server are required if the SMU is connected to the intranet and the proxy server has been selected by users.
If the SMU is connected to the Internet and the PC is connected to intranet, the user cannot cancel the use of the proxy server. If the user cancels the use of the proxy server, the user cannot visit the SMU.
Set the LAN as follows:
Step 1 Open the Internet Explorer.
Step 2 Choose Tools > Internet Options.
Step 3 On the Connections tab, click LAN settings.
Step 4 Do not select the check box under Proxy server, as shown in follow figure.

Step 5 Click OK, finish the LAN setting.
1.1.4 Setting Compatibility
To ensure the normal display on the WebUI, click Compatibility View Button shown in follow Figure to open compatibility view and set Internet Explorer 8.0.
1.1.5 Setting Internet Explorer Security
Before exporting historical logs, historical data, statistics, and battery test records, set Internet Explorer security.
To set Internet Explorer security, perform the following steps:
Step 1 Open Internet Explorer.
Step 2 Choose Tools > Internet Options.
Step 3 Click the Security tab.
Step 4 Click Internet and then click Custom level as shown in Figure 2-6-1. After set Internet, please set Local intranet in the same method.

Enable the following:
l Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt
l Download signed ActiveX controls
l Download unsigned ActiveX controls
l Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting
l nclude local directory path when uploading files to a server
l Automatic prompting for file downloads

1.2 Export Fault Information
1.2.1 Export Steps
Step 1 Login UI
Open the Internet Explorer and type the SMU IP address in the address bar, and then press enter. Enter user name (The preset user name is admin) and password is Changme or 000001 .SMU defaults URL https://192.168.0.10/login.asp.

Step 2 Login power system by web, Click ‘Maintenance’, Then click ‘Fault Information’.
Step 3 If encryption is required, add the encryption password.
Step 4 Export the Fault Information, If you do not add the encrypted password, the system displays the following information, and click OK.
Step 5 Wait a few minutes.Then cliket ‘Save’,export success.

1.3 Export Historical Data
1.3.1 Export Steps
Step 1 Login UI as above guide
Step 2 Login power system by web, click "Query".
Step 3 Click "Export Data".
Step 4 Choose ‘All’, Then click ‘Export’.
Step 5 Wait a few minutes. Then click ‘Save’, Download success.
Step 6 End.
1.4 Download configuration files
1.4.1 Export Steps
Step 1 Click Maintenance.And then click Configure File
Step 2 If password is required, add the encryption password
Step 3 Export the current configuration.
Step 4 If no encryption password is added, there will be a dialog box is displayed, as shown in the following figure, and click OK.
Step 5 Wait for a few minutes.
Step 6 Save the file.
