In 2023, the new standard for wireless connection is expected, namely Wi-Fi7. The arrival of the network is already appearing on the horizon of 2023 Wi-Fi 7.

The 802.11 standard for Wi-Fi 7 is currently still in development. We know that the MU-MIMO technology offered by Wi-Fi 6 supports 8 data streams to work simultaneously. Besides the traditional 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, Wi-Fi 7 can also support the 6 GHz frequency band. Benefits of WiFi 7

When compared to WiFi 6, using a 320 MHz channel doubles throughput.
The use of 4096QAM improves throughput by 20%.
Enhanced OFDMA improves user experience by increasing spectrum efficiency, lowering latency, and improving spectrum efficiency.
When compared to the wifi 6 version, doubling spatial streams helps to double network throughput.
Collaborative APs that use Coordinated OFDMA synchronize their data broadcasts and make better use of orthogonal time/frequency and spatial resources.
It employs puncturing to disable transmission in certain portions of the channel in order to comply with spectrum limits that may prevent the use of a portion of the band. Puncturing allows for the usage of large channels where there is an insufficient continuous spectrum.
It employs the WPA3 protocol, which is similar to wifi-6, to enable secure communications. In comparison to WPA2, WEP, and WPA, WPA3 is more secure. To support WPA3, special hardware with specially created chips is used, as well as secured management frames.
AR/VR, 4K and 8K video streaming, cloud computing, video chatting, video conferencing, and remote offices are just a few of the applications for WiFi-7.
