Topic Discussion|What are the benefits of 5G for us?

Latest reply: Apr 2, 2021 18:03:41 864 29 8 0 0

The telecom operators of various countries have announced their 5G schedules one after another, with different countries having different landing times. However, there is still a difference between the local 5G and the "real 5G" in our cognitive sense, so let's say that it will take two to three years for 5G to be completely popular. Today's 4G basically meets the needs of most people's mobile network, 5G is just a faster network speed. What new things do you think the arrival of 5G can bring to us? Will it make our lives change?

These are all things that can bring convenience to our lives. Are there any 5G cases that have been implemented or projects under construction in your life?

This is already a project under implementation. China is actively building a smart city. Let 5G serve people faster.
Hi,

I believe 5G is more then just a increase in speed, it means ultra-low latency enabling driver-less cars, remote surgeries, highspeed holograms etc.

Yeah, More importantly, the application in actual scenarios will definitely bring us the different experiences.

I fully agree, but I think the implementation of these projects will take some time. The infrastructure of 5G needs to be more perfect. Hope I can see the emergence of driverless cars.

of course, nothing gets done overnight. Strong basic infra is required and once that is available, projects will start popping.
I'm still using a 4G phone and have never experienced 5G speed. I hope I can get a new phone next year.Topic Discussion|What are the benefits of 5G for us?-3817803-1

I very much agree with your point of view.
Greater spectral efficiency and use of resources. Higher speed. Work in the nue as if it were local. Lower latency. Remote control including driving, telemedicine and sensitive industrial processes. Greater inclusion. Emergence of new services and differentiation of operators with respect to those and the speed with which they adapt to changes and are able to implement them.

As an enabling technology, 5G could effect our lives in five key ways.
1. Smart Cities
2. The World of Work
3. Driverless Cars
4. Telemedicine
5. Virtual Spaces
It took 10 years for 4G to become the dominant cellular technology, and 5G might take even longer. But once it’s fully in place, we’ll wonder how we ever lived without it.
