5G greatly reduces the latency and throughput of wireless services, which is a great improvement over the previous generation. 5G will also usher in other changes in mobile networks, including cloud-native software-driven components, and open interfaces all the way to the wireless network (RAN). All these new technologies are accompanied by more complexity, but operators cannot afford to increase network operating costs to cope with this complexity. This is the role of artificial intelligence. AI can achieve self-monitoring capabilities to ensure high-quality services and low latency. Although these technologies may not be new to the commercial technology stack, they have never been as relevant or critical to the needs of the enterprise as they are now.
