During service configuration, some engineers use the per-NE mode to make the process more rigorous(This also includes command-line configuration using the Navigator tool), while others use the trail mode to simplify and efficiently configure services. For you, which one do you prefer?

Please share which mode you prefer in the comment area below the post!

Hi
I like to use the end-to-end path configuration method because it is efficient and does not generate discrete services.

I'm more towards command line and prefer doing the same, as it has more control
Yes sometimes it cumbersome but script /automation helps

The people who use the command line are very strict about their work. I really appreciate your attitude.
If you create a service on a per-NE, you need to create relevant attributes of the service separately on the source and sink nodes of the service.
In an operation interface NMS, you can directly configure the attributes of the source and sink nodes of a service by using the NMS trail function. In this way, a service can be fast created.

Yes, the service creation speed can be improved by using the trail mode. However, some port parameters need to be configured on a per-NE basis.

Hi

Ofcourse, the trail mode is faster and easier but in case of big service swap I need to you command line because it makes the cut time short.

Also the NCE makes a new limitation on the trail work .
For example , when you need to delete or diactivate a trail , you cant work in more than 9 lines simultaneously.

Thanks for sharing. New functions of NCE help network operators perform more detailed network maintenance.

Excellent, thank you for sharing! Per NE Mode

Thank you for your statement!
I like to avoid command line as much as possible. As there are more chances of errors and even if you miss something very small, troubleshooting becomes hectic.

Yes, the command line is usually appropriate for people with good technical skills.

That's why we are moving towards intent driven networks .. let the system take care of all the configurations.
I like to use Trail. It is faster easier and less to have mistake
