HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)
Hello I have problems setting the switch time after x time returns to its previous value after checking I find that the problem is in the UTC time that does not correspond to the real time and the switch returns to the wrong time

display clock utc //commands returns world time +0

display clock //returns the time set to the time zone

clock datetime// allows setting the time

but after x time it returns to UTC which does not correspond to that of the world.

Hi lucian2003,
Please check whether the switch is configured with the DST. If the switch is configured with the DST and the configured time is within the DST range, the time displayed by the display clock command will be added the DST offset.

Hello @lucian2003

Did you try to set the Time Zone. If not try the command below according to your time zone

<Huawei> clock timezone Eastern_Time minus 05:00:00

Refer to:

clock timezone

Hi friend hope it can help u:

Configure the system date and time of switch:

Run the clock datetime [ utc ] HH:MM:SS YYYY-MM-DD command in the user view to configure the current date and time of a switch.

# Set the current date and time of a switch to 2015-12-31 16:00.

clock datetime 0:0:0 2016-01-01

Note:
If the scheduled restart function is configured in the user view using the schedule reboot { at time | delay interval [ force ] } command, and the system time is set to be over 10 minutes later than the scheduled restart time, the scheduled restart function becomes ineffective. For example, if the scheduled restart time is 2015-12-31 16:00 and the system time is changed to 2015-12-31 16:00, the scheduled restart function becomes ineffective.
