I'd like to share with you things to check while troubleshooting the VOIP service.
Troubleshooting VoIP Service Flowchart

* Checking the Upstream Ethernet Port
* Checking the MG interface
- The MG interface is running in the normal state.
- The MG interface parameters are configured correctly.
- The IP address, the port number, and the protocol type on the device are consistent with those on the peer device
* Checking the Subscriber line
- In test mode, run the pots circuit-test command to test the circuit on the service board.
- In test mode, run the pots loop-line-test command test the loop line
* Tracing the MG interface Signaling
- The signaling tracing helps to find out faults caused by mismatching of protocols between the MA5600T and the MGC. To trace the signaling, you can use a signaling tracing tool, namely the Toolbox.
- The Toolbox provides the graphical user interface (GUI) and generally runs on the network management system. you can use the tool to trace the H.248 signaling.
