Today I will share with you the solution to there is no media flow when making a point to point call through TE desktop.
Problem Description
When making a point to point call no media cannot see the other client.
Problem Analysis
Check all the firewall ports are open.
Schedule a conference on SMC and invite these two endpoints to join, found it is working fine.
Solution Description
If the conference on SMC is ok, the P2P call should be a network issue. When enable the media route for P2P call, let the media flow go through SC, and the issue is resolved.
In the below picture, Media flow between client A and B with passing the Server so there is something blocking the media there so to know it needs to capture wire shark between the two clients and see what blocks the media flow.
After enabled the media flow issue is resolved. A call can be initiated and they can hear and see each other.
