How to configure the whole network NTP function synchronization

Whether this function is configured does not require setting NTP on each IPC

Hi, Disenchanted!

You don't need to configure it again on each IPC after configuring this function.

After the camera NTP time synchronization function is configured on a server, cameras will automatically time-synchronize with the server. Therefore, do not set IP addresses of other clock sources on the camera web pages.

Otherwise, the cameras will time-synchronize with the latter configured clock sources.

Steps are as follows:

1. Log in to the OMU portal as the admin user.

2. Choose Maintenance > Unified Configuration.

3. Select the server to which the cameras need to connect, set Module name to SCU and Parameter type to System property, and click Search.

4. In the search results, click Edit in the row where Parameter Name is NTPIPC and set the Value as 1.

5. Click Save to enable the camera NTP time synchronization function.

After the camera NTP time synchronization function has been enabled, the cameras, after being connected to the server, will automatically time-synchronize with the server.
