The way to install the SEM on management boards

Installing the SEM for management boards(IVMA1/IVMB1

The SEM is a distributed runtime environment management system deployed on the management board. It provides a graphical management user interface, and manages the distributed runtime environment and service units in a unified manner, including initial configurations of the system and devices, device upgrades, process daemon, and performance monitoring. By doing so, the SEM simplifies distributed system deployment.

Steps:

1.Run the cd VCM5000_SOFTWARE/scripts/ command to access the directory where the installation script is stored after the decompression.

2.Run the chmod +x install.sh command to assign execute permission on the install.sh script.

3.Run the ./install.sh SEM command to install the SEM software, as shown in Figure below.

This step requires GuassDB database installation, which takes about 5 minutes. Please wait patiently.

Wait for the system to complete the installation.

If information similar to below is displayed, the SEM software is installed successfully.
