Hi, guys!
Good day to you!
This topic describes the video format introduction-FLV/F4V.
What is FLV
FLV is the abbreviation of FLASH VIDEO.
FLV streaming format is a new video format. Because it forms a very small file and loads extremely fast, it makes it possible to watch video files on the network. Its appearance effectively solves the problem that the exported SWF file is bulky after being imported into Flash, and cannot be used well on the network.
What is F4V
As a format that is smaller and clearer and more conducive to network propagation, F4V has gradually replaced the traditional FLV, and has been compatible with most mainstream players, without the need for complex methods such as conversion. F4V is an F4V streaming media format that supports the H.264 after the FLV format in order to meet the HD era. The main difference between it and FLV is that the FLV format uses H263 encoding, while the F4V supports H.264 encoded high-definition video with a bit rate of up to 50Mbps. That is to say, F4V and FLV can achieve higher resolution and support higher bit rate under the premise of the same volume, which is what we call clearer and smoother. In addition, the F4V file suffix downloaded on many mainstream media websites is FLV. This is another feature of the F4V format. It is a normal phenomenon. When viewing, it can be clearly felt that this F4V FLV has significantly higher definition and Smoothness.
