Hi, everyone!

It is nice to meet you in the community!

The topic describes the solution to the time in the Point-to-Point CDR of the SMC2.0 report is incorrect.

Description

Networking: Adding standalone SC to the SMC2.0 and terminal registers on the standalone SC.

On the Report > CDRs > Point-to-Point CDR of SMC2.0 webpage, the Point-to-Point time is five hours earlier than the server time.

Handing process

  1. It is suspected that the terminal time is not the same as the SMC2.0 server time. But from the terminal webpage, the time is the same.

  2. It is suspected that the SMC2.0 time zone is incorrect, but confirm with the customer that the selected time zone is Beijing.

  3. Confirm with the customer that all the terminals have registered on standalone, it is suspected the standalone SC time configuration is incorrect. So log in to the standalone SC through SSH2(username/password admin/Change_Me) and enter the command: date 20151120175700 to change the system time to the UTC time 17:57 on November 20, 2015. The format is “yyyyMMDDhhmmss”, yyyy indicates year, MM indicates month, DD indicates day, hh indicates hour, mm indicates minutes, and ss indicates second. After changing the system, the problem is resolved.

Root cause

The CDR time on the SC is decided by SC time configuration. The incorrect SC time configuration  results in the fault.
