If the login to the TE40 web interface fails, check whether the browser is Microsoft Internet Explorer, FireFox, or Chrome. Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 is recommended.
The following description uses Window 7 as an example to describe how to configure Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla Firefox 44.0.2, and Google Chrome 46.0.2490.80 m. The methods for configuring other browser versions are similar.
Step
Start Internet Explorer.
From the Internet Explorer menu bar, choose Tools > Internet Options. In the Internet Options dialog box that is displayed, click the Security tab.
In the bottom of the tab, click Custom level.
In the Security Settings dialog box that is displayed, perform the operations as follows:
Set all options under Downloads and Scripting to Enable.
Select Display mixed content under Miscellaneous.
Click OK.
On the Security tab, click Trusted site and then Site.
The Trusted site dialog box is displayed.
In the Add this website to the zone text box, enter the IP address of your endpoint. Then click Add.
Click Close.
Click the Privacy tab. Move the slider to display the Medium level.
Click the Advanced tab. Select Use TLS 1.1 or Use TLS 1.2 in the Settings area.
Click OK.
