Hello, team!
Have a nice day!
The SIP terminal can register with the intranet but cannot register with the extranet.
Networking:
NAT traversal networking for SCs on public and private
Can you give me a way to solve the problem?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, jacob2!

Have a good day!

Please check the configuration first.

  • If the SC is not configured with a NAT address, extranet terminals will fail to register with the SC.

You can check the address on the SMC, see the picture below:

    SMC

  • If the configuration is correct, check the network.

You can capture packets to check whether the network is faulty.

If no registration message is received, the network is faulty. Check whether the network NAT is normal and whether the port (TCP 5061 or UDP 5060) is enabled.

Best wishes!

Hello,

Configuring a SIP Terminal

When you register a TE10/T20/TE Desktop/TE Mobile with the SIP server, set the IP address as the access-side static mapping IP address planned for the HTTPS reverse proxy. If you register other SIP terminals, set the IP address as the access-side static mapping signaling IP address planned for the SIP proxy.

Add the extranet SIP terminal as an unmanageable participant on the SMC2.0 and register the extranet terminal with the preceding mentioned SC through SIP. The following part takes a TEX0 series endpoint and a TE Desktop as examples to describe how to configure an extranet SIP terminal.
  • Register a TE10 with the SC through the SBC.

When you add a TE10 as an unmanageable participant to the SMC2.0, enter the SN of the TE10 in Other Parameters.

Configuring an H.323 Terminal

Add the extranet H.323 terminal as an unmanageable participant on the SMC2.0 and register the extranet participant with the SC in H.323 mode. When registering a terminal with the H.323 server, set the IP address as the NAT IP address planned for the SC. The following part takes a TEX0 series endpoint as an example to describe how to configure an extranet H.323 terminal.
