Board Installation Requirements:
(1) Management boards are evenly distributed in all subracks.
(2) You only need to insert management boards and analysis boards into slots in subracks. Cable connections are performed on switch boards.

Connection principles:
(1) The two 40GE optical ports on a VCM 5010 server can be split into eight 10GE optical ports through MPO/PC-4DLC/PC multi-mode optical fibers.
(2) VCM 5010 servers are connected to switches with optical ports through 10GE cables.
(3) The storage systems can connect to switches through 10G optical ports and to VCM 5010 servers through 10GE optical ports.
(4) As the volume of data traffic in a VCM system is large, it is recommended that you configure switches in a stack rather than in active/standby mode.
