Hi, guys! Today I'm going to talk about the quality problem of the audio and video call.
Problem description:
1. We make a video call from Mate10 to EP680, it is successful at first, but the video quality is very poor, and EP680 side is especially obvious.
Then, manually switch to the voice. Both sides can hear the voice. The Mate10 can be switched to the voice state, but the EP680 is still in the video state. The only difference is that the video of the peer end is the last frame. The call is released after dozens of seconds.
2. Make a video call from Mate10 to EP820, the video call is successful, but only one-way audio(we can only hear a voice from mate10 side), and then disconnect automatically after dozens of seconds.
It seems the U2980 release the call from UGC trace. It may be the eAPP release the call (because the U2980 is only a CMN, but the U2980 does not have a BYE message trace).
Analysis process:
Symptom 1:During a P2P video call between MATE10 and EP820, packet loss occurs on the S1 interface of the eNodeB.
Cause:The video service parameters of the MATE10 QCI2 are inconsistent with those of the QCI4 on the LTE side.
Temporary solution:No packet loss occurs after the QCI 2 parameter is modified in the lab. Therefore, it is not recommended that the parameter be used in the field. The modification of the QCI 2 parameter needs to be evaluated by the SE.
Final solution:SE needs to evaluate the configuration of QCI 2.
Symptom 2:When the Mate10 initiates a call, the A & S cannot set up a dedicated bearer for the EP820. (The user impact is unknown.)
Cause:The pt value used by the mate10 video stream is 118. Currently, the A & S does not support this value. Therefore, the core network does not initiate a dedicated bearer setup request. As a result, the EP820 dedicated bearer fails to be set up, and the EP820 can only use the default bearer.
Solution:A requirement is raised to solve the problem that the EP820 cannot set up a dedicated bearer during a call between Mate10 and EP820.
Symptom 3:The video is stuck.
Cause:When the Mate10 rotates the mobile phone, the width and height of the video parameters are changed. The EP820 does not support this exchange.
Temporary solution:When the Mate10 and EP820 video P2P services are used, the Mate10 portrait is retained.
Final solution:The problem that the EP820 rotation mechanism is inconsistent with the mate10 rotation mechanism is raised.
