  1. See Network Analysis check whether the network meet fax service requirement.

    • If no, change the cables to check whether the fault is rectified.
    • If yes, go to the next step.

  2. Connect the ground ling of unified gateway to check whether the fault is rectified.

    • If the network connection is abnormal, verify that the network cables are connected properly.
    • If the network connection is normal, go to the next step.

  3. See E1/T1 Trunk Exception whether the clock source is configured.
  4. If the fault still persists, collect detailed fault information and related logs by referring to Collecting and Reporting Fault Information and send them to the service provider.
