The PC cannot ping the peer CE

Hi, community!

I have a problem the PC is connected to the S switch as a CE, and the S switch is used as a PE to configure L2VPN under VLANIF. Why can't the peer CE be pinged?

Hi friend!
For S series switches, when L2VPN is bound to a VLANIF, for packets sent from the CE side to PE, PE must have a VLAN when forwarding, so that L2VPN forwarding is possible. Otherwise, the packets will be discarded, and the packets sent by the PC The packets do not carry VLANs, so they cannot be forwarded, resulting in failure to ping the peer CE.
