Hello Community!
This post contains the troubleshooting method of the issue that the output power of SUN2000-100KTL-M1 is low. Please have a look below for more details.
DIAGNOSTIC DESCRIPTION
In a project, two rooftops are 400 meters away from each other and three inverters are installed on each rooftop. The output power of the three inverters on the rooftop of one building is low.

TROUBLESHOOTING METHOD
Check whether the PV modules installed in the two buildings are blocked.
Check whether the power limit is set for the inverter and whether an alarm is generated for a shutdown.
Analyze the inverter logs.
HANDLING PROCEDURE
It is found that the two buildings on the site are 400 meters apart, which is the taller building in the attachment. Therefore, no shelter is found.
The power limiting parameters are not set for the monitoring inverter and no-fault occurs.
According to the log analysis, the inverter is always in the grid-tied state, but its power is low (about 2 kW). Compared with the two rooftop inverters, the difference is that the grid voltage of the inverter on the normal rooftop is low and the grid voltage of the inverter on the rooftop with low output power exceeds 253 V.

The inverter uses the grid standard code to set the trigger value of high voltage crossing HVRT to 253 V by default. In this case, the inverter has triggered high voltage crossing. In this case, the inverter power is limited at the trigger time to prevent the grid voltage from increasing continuously. When the grid voltage reaches the exit HVRT value, the inverter power is restored to normal.

SOLUTION
When the inverter triggers HVRT, the power is limited to the power at the trigger time. The power increases only when the grid voltage is lower than the exit HVRT value.
With the permission of the power grid company, the HVRT trigger value can be increased appropriately.
For industrial and commercial projects, if the power grid company does not have this requirement, the HVRT can be disabled.
