Usually the OTN device of the current network is not allowed to modify the NEID. The scenario which NEID must be modified need according to the following scheme:
1. A small number of network elements do not involve WSS/TM20 optical cross-configuration, do not involve ASON features, and do not involve packet service scenarios. It is recommended to deal with the following schemes:
1) Backup network element database
2) Delete the wave lock and other function configurations (IPA/ALC/APE/OAMS) after recording the relevant function configuration information
3) After recording the protection configuration information, delete the port protection function configuration (make sure the active channel is normal before deleting the port protection configuration)
4) After the logical fiber-optic information of the network element is recorded, delete the logical fiber-optic configuration of the inter-network element. Note that the source and sink ends of the logical fiber-connected fiber are deleted. The logical link in the station does not need to be deleted.
5) Modify the NEID through the NMS. After the NE is automatically reset and restarted, reconfigure the deleted function in the following order.
6) Re-create the protection group
7) Re-create the cross-network element logic connection, and pay attention to the source and sink end of the cross-network element logic connection.
8) Recreate wave locks and other configurations
9) After the database is backed up successfully, the NMS performs configuration upload.
note: 1. The A/B network element has a logical fiber connection. After the NEID of any A/B is modified, you must delete and re-create the logical
