Hello, everyone!
Today, I'd like to share a case with you.
Problem Description
There is the IP+ optical environment, AC-SUPER V3R2C10, and 9800 V1R5C10. When the 9800 device information is synchronized to the SUPER, the original site name ROADM XXXX of the 9800 is displayed as HUAWEI on the SUPER. When the user logs in to the device through the CLI, the NE name is changed to HUAWEI, however, the original site name is displayed on the optical subrack.

Problem Analysis
1. Check all U32 electrical subracks of 9800. The result shows that both SUPER and CLOUDOPERA are displayed as HUAWEI instead of the originally set site name.
2. Run the command to log in to the NE. The site name returned by the cfg-get-nename command or any other command is displayed as HUAWEI. The preceding information indicates that the SUPER or CLO is not displayed or synchronized on the NMS, but the NE is modified.
3. Use the U2000 to change the NE name to the normal NE name, and synchronize the NE name again. It is found that Huawei is still displayed on the SUPER.
Root Cause
The processing result shows that the device name is automatically modified by an upper-layer OSS or controller. However, this problem does not occur when the U2000 and AC-T are synchronized. This problem occurs only when the AC-SUPER is synchronized.
The problem occurs on the SUPER side.
Then, consult the R&D personnel. It is found that the SUPER of this version has a bug in modifying the site name of the 9800 electrical subrack.
Solution Description
If the NE is not upgraded, perform the following operations:
Use the U2000 to change the name of the 9800 site. After setting the name, click to click APPLY. Do not click OK to modify the site name.
