Fault Symptom
An egress
router has two egresses and has association between NQA and static routes
configured to implement dual-egress switchover. After an NQA test instance is
configured and starts, the test function is normal. However, the NQA test
instance is automatically terminated, and the start command disappears.
As a result, NQA detection and switchover cannot be implemented.

instance is automatically terminated.

Troubleshooting Procedure
1.
Configure frequency and then run the start
now command in the NQA test instance.
[AR1-nqa-test-test]frequency 20
2. Find that the start now command
configured in the NQA test instance will not be automatically cleared, and that
the NQA test keeps running.
Root Cause
By default, no automatic NQA test interval is set, and the system performs the NQA test only once. After this test is completed, the test instance is automatically stopped. If a long test is required when association between NQA and static routes is configured, you need to set the test frequency and ensure that this value is not too small so as to prevent the NQA test result from becoming no result because the test is not completed.
Summary and Suggestions
By default, no automatic NQA test interval is set, and the system performs the NQA test only once. After this test is completed, the test instance is automatically stopped. If a long test is required when association between NQA and static routes is configured, you need to set the test frequency and ensure that this value is not too small so as to prevent the NQA test result from becoming no result because the test is not completed. It is recommended that this value be set based on the NQA test type and time taken to perform an NQA test.
