The NMS of the CE12808 Fails to Receive Alarms

Hello everyone,

When the CE12808 is configured with the SNMP agent function, the NMS cannot receive alarms. The IP route of LoopBack0 has been advertised to the public network.

SNMP configuration:

snmp-agent

snmp-agent community read cipher xxxx acl 2004

snmp-agent sys-info contact XXXXXXXX

snmp-agent sys-info location XXXX _CE12808

snmp-agent sys-info version v2c

snmp-agent target-host trap address udp-domain 211.x.x.242 params securityname cipher xxxx

snmp-agent target-host trap address udp-domain 211.x.x.7 params securityname cipher xxxx

snmp-agent trap source LoopBack0

snmp-agent trap enable feature-name bgp

snmp-agent trap enable feature-name IFNET trap-name linkDown

snmp-agent trap enable feature-name IFNET trap-name linkup

Check the SNMP configuration on the CE12808. It is found that snmp-agent trap is not configured. As a result, the CE12808 cannot send traps.

Please add the snmp-agent trap command.
