Step 1 Remove the protective shield, mount the IPC again, power on the IPC, and check the power indicator.
- If the power indicator is on, go to Step 2.
- If the power indicator is still off, remove the IPC from the wall, remove the network cable, power on the IPC again, and check the power indicator.
− If the power indicator is on, go to Step 2.
− If the power indicator is still off, the power supply is abnormal. Contact your service provider for assistance.
Step 2 Check whether the RJ45 connector of the network cable and the RJ45 connector are in good contact.
- If yes, contact your service provider for assistance.
- If no, make the network cables again.
Note:
Network cables can be made in two ways: cross-connected cables and parallel cables. Making network cables must comply with the 568A or 568B standard.
Step 3 Check whether the fault is rectified.
- If yes, no further operation is required.
- If no, contact your service provider for assistance.
